About me
I was born and raised in Hebron, KY which is super close to Cincinnati. I have one sister who is a sophomore in high school. I also have a dog that I love dearly named Theo. I am a super active person and I love to run and hike. I also am an avid baker and I love to bake new and creative things. I have always been interested in helping people with disabilities, which is why I chose my major. I have a cousin that is autistic and another cousin with cerebral palsy, so I have been around disabilities my whole life. My cousin with cerebral palsy is almost fifty so I have grown up hearing his stories about how hard it was for him to get into school and be given the right to learn. I have grown up hearing how hard it was for my aunt and uncle to get him into school. They fought school boards and other parents. My cousin was the first student with disabilities at his high school. My cousin is also adopted and when he was diagnosed the adoption agency told my aunt and uncle that they could return him. Hearing all of this always inspired me to make things easier for other kids with disabilities and their parents.

It's incredible people like your aunt and uncle who see the potential in people and the joy they bring to our lives. They teach us so much about ourselves and help us become better people. It's exciting how you are carrying on this family trait of making a difference in the lives of others.
