This goes a long with my post yesterday, but in my CDS 275 class we also just started learning about the perspectives of language development. These perspectives are so interesting to me, because it shows how every thinker thinks differently and comes to different conclusions. Also to me all of these perspectives seem partly true, some more than others, but you can't ignore one because it fits in there. The videos we observed in class yesterday were super cute, but also really interesting. They focused on different cognitive abilities and ages, there were also different ethnic groups. I think that the most accurate perspective is behavioral because I think children learn a lot about language and interaction by watching their parents and people around them. I really am loving that I am getting a double dose of these classes since they are so far aligned. It really helped me with my exam today and I can't wait to learn more.

Making connections is such an important part of learning. Being able to see how ideas fit together and apply is critical. It's excellent that you're able to see how these classes are designed to build upon one another and support the learning process for you!
