This semester I am taking many recreation classes as well as psychology and this special education class.  In my REC 200 class we are learning about leisure in general and recently we are learning about leisure and recreation here in Richmond.  We did presentations on sites and parks here in Richmond and what you can do there.  In REC 411 we go to the Morning Pointe nursing home every Monday and are paired with a senior in the Buddy class and get to know them on a deeper level and give them something to do and someone to talk about.  In REC 350 our big project is the employee development manual.  We have to pick a company and find out information on that company in detail.  In REC 263, since it is a field work class, we have to observe for 90 hours and make sure that we plan at least 5 recreation events.  In PSY 280 we are learning about the development of people using Piaget.  Finally, I am taking SED 260 and we are learning about morphemes in more detail.  I enjoy all of my classes, but I am definitely busy all the time and I am challenged.
